The new Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 816 DBD Driver offers golfers a vast amount of adjustability from a stock driver, limiting the need for a fitting cart. A powerful 460cc head provides great forgiveness on off centre strikes. This making the Alpha 816 more forgiving than last years Big Bertha 815, with a 45% larger sweet spot and 30% improved dispersion. The Next Generation R Moto face technology gives the club face a speed boost, especially on off centre strikes.
Previous Alpha models featured a single chamber in the centre of the driver head to store the gravity core. The new Alpha 816 DBD features dual chambers that are located in the toe and heel of the driver. This offers the better players precise shot shaping capabilities. The Gravity core remains the same, with a heavier tungsten side that is designed to sit behind the golfers impact position on the club face, to propel the ball at faster speeds and greater distances.
A lightweight forged composite crown gives the head a lower CG location, that produces a penetrating ball flight. The Optifit hosel allows you to increase and decrease loft, as well as changing lie angles to create a more draw or fade bias driver.
